I flew out to Charlotte for a work deal a couple years ago to watch the Niners whip the Panthers and tour the Apollo valve factory and foundry.
We had to kill a couple of hours before our flight home so one of the guys suggested we check out the Nascar hall of fame. I have been to a few races, but I'm not really much of a Nascar guy. But what the hell, I like museums.....
There was a guy there that was kneeling in front of the Earnhart display crying his eyes out with his wife consoling him like he was an eight year old at grandmas funeral. He also cried through the Earnhart parts of the short "history of Nascar" movie they show there. I mean bawling like a lost heifer calf!
I will never be able to watch a race again without hearing that guys crying and seeing the look of disgust on the look of his poor wife as her husband cried and sobbed in front of hundreds of strangers.

The Cars Are So Identical Now The Only Difference Is The Brand On The Hood!
