Blazer vanes and clearance

I just switched up some arrows to the 2" Blazers. I tried shooting ##### vane up (like I do with standard 4" vanes) and got fletch contact on the bow's riser by the vane to the right of the ##### vane. Shooting ##### vane out solves the clearance issue and I get no contact with the bow or rest, but the vane hits my chin/cheek at my anchor point. How do you guys shoot these vanes? ##### vane out or up?

I shoot a Mathews Switchback with a Throphy Ridge Drop Zone rest. Anyone shooting the Blazers with a similar setup?

I am shooting the exact same set-up Switchback, Drop Zone, and Blazers. I have not noticed hitting the riser with the ##### vane up.

I didn't notice it either until I tried putting some lipstick on the vanes. I shot it and ended up with a sexy red mark on the bow's riser.

Just tried that same test and no contact. Are you sure your rest is aligned perfectly?

FYI I am shooting the standard Switchback, 28.5'' draw, 27'' arrows with 2 inch blazers.

The center shot has been lazered and is on. With ##### vane out my broadheads hit right with field points so I think it is set up right. I do have some Fuzzy Stuff felt stuck to the inside of the riser so that 1/16" thickness might make a difference. I'll pull it off and see what happens.

Yeah, there is not much clearance on mine so that felt might be the difference.
