Spent last weekend in the hills with good friends. We backpacked in about three miles in hopes of finding some sheds that haven't been touched for years. Well, the first day was great. We found 2 fresh matched sets on our way into camp!
Once camp was set we spent the rest of the evening shed hunting nearby and we found a hot spot with a ton of old sheds. We found about sheds that 50 day. We ate about 48 ounces of steak for supper. The only problem was not getting much sleep due to severe wind and all we had was a tarp.
The next day was a little miserable. It was windy and misty all day long. That wasn't going to stop us though. We walked almost all day and found about 60 sheds that day. That night we didn't get much sleep either due to wind and rain. (next time we will be a little more prepared)
Here are the totals. Close to 130 between us all. Not many fresh ones or huge ones, but a lot of bone. It was a great time and definitely beat our trip from last year when we found 30 sheds.
My total.
