Black Hills Unit 1 Elk

I have applied for this tag with max points and a friend who has hunted the unit twice has had Alaska hunt moved and unable to hunt with me. Planning on archery hunting for the most part. I will do a summer scouting trip as I am close(Nebraska). Any input appreciated, feel free to PM. Thanks!!!

Good luck on drawing the tag, as max PPs in the past has not been a 100% chance at drawing unless you put in for the Special Draw, and it's too late for that. If you draw the tag, an archery hunt in September should be a blast. Good luck!

Can anybody suggest the best source for a map for unit 1(black hills) elk unit? I'm headed up in a couple of weeks to scout!
