i was in the east fork area on the first of the year, right near sula, and videod 11 rams, all 3/4 and bigger, all chasing the same ewe. and they werent just smelling around, they were jumping up on her, running after her, and ramming each other to get to her.
Im not a sheep expert by any means, and was a little confused on the entire event, ive always heard that sheep in this part of the state rut in early november, the same as deer. do sheep have a secondary rut maybe with ewes that arent breed the first time around? ill try to get some of the video up, but its on hi-8 and i dont have a capture card, so it might be a while.
