I was 789, not happening this year. Dad was 229. It was a nice try though.

I had 179 and my brother had 336 as NRs. We got closer this year but not close enough.

1800 keeps me far away from getting to hunt. Its a little lower each year, but at this rate, I will 200 years old by the time I draw. good luck to all who were lucky!

Fellas-
I just received a notification from WY regarding my bison priority position. My # is 126 out of 815 for Area 002 Type 1.

Question 1:What is the usual cut-off #? Do I have a decent chance?

Looking at the other posts the bull tag numbers are:

96 resident tags
24 non-resident

#126 won't get you into the game for either. The draw odds for the type 1 bison tags run around 1.5 to 3%, depending upon how many tags are issued for that year.

Long shot odds, for sure!
