Bison Mount

Here is a bison I just finished in my shop.

Very Nice. Great job around the eyes. I'm looking at a bison hunt for the meat and a nice mount for the great room.

Looks good! Cant wait to get my WY bison back from the taxidermist later this year. What does the mount weigh?

After the mount is completely dried, it weighs around 30-35 lbs. Not much, compared to an elk or moose. Just looks heavier, because of all the long, wooly hair...when they are soaking wet however, thats a different story.

The horns are casts. This Bull came from a ranch in South dakota!
