Bison Hunt on Antelope Island

The Legislature (Mike Noel) is using the Bison Hunt on Antelope Island as a reason to justify Hunting of Mule Deer and Big Horn Sheep. Anyone ever hunted a Bison out there? What kind of hunt was it. The bison herd is more like a herd of cows that gets rounded up and corralled every fall. The surplus animals are sold and 5 bulls get shot. I've never seen a thread on MM.com telling what a great hunt it was. Anyone know someone that has hunted Bison on Antelope Island?

There's a photo, I believe in an old Utah archery record book, of a guy who shot a bison out there. The herd was still standing about 60 yards behind him in the photo. Will never forget that one. I don't think it's much of a challenge, but I have never done it.
