Big Eyes Companion

I have my companion for my big eyes narrowed down to Swaro's 8.5x42 of 10x42. My big eyes are 15x56 Kiaba. Does anyone have any preferences?

I have the 8.5xs and love them. Comparing with the 10xs, I found the wider field of view and brighter image a good trade for the extra 1.5x.

The Swarovision 8.5 is stellar.

Much wider FOV then the 10x and added brightness along with easier eye placement. The loss of 1.5x is nothing.

Agreed, if your going to glass with 15's do yourself the favor and buy the 8's.

Thanks, everyone... That's is kind of what I was thinking. I set out a deer rack a Cabela's 400 yards away in the shade of a tree, i put a brown shirt over the bleached skull. What you gain in maginifaction you loss in shake. I compared them side by side. The 8.5's slightly smaller image, way eaisr to hold steady.
I will be mounting the Vortex on a tripod!
