big elk and little elk mountain?

thinking of doing some hunting in and around that area, do you guys have any input?

I hunted it for deer 3 years ago 2 days before
the elk opener, and there were alot of camps
moving in, I never seen any elk, and only a few deer
in 3 days of hunting.

It could of got better since then but I doubt
it.

Big and little Elk mountain are famous for the 5 day war. The problem is is that it has been that way for far to long, any elk coming out of there are way back in or suicidal. I hear that tex creek is the place to fill your tag, cow or bull, just be willing to pack in and out.
Isn't it sad that a family can be torn apatr by something as simple as a pack of wild wolves

If you are planning on hunting deer you will have lots of company.

If you are planning on hunting elk you will have much more company.

If you want to shoot a big bull you are better off playing the lottery.
