Big Colorado Elk sheds

Went on an outing for Turkey in a new area and picked up the occasional deer shed....

Not much luck on Turkey so I headed to some good looking elk country not far away. Shocked when I found this last years shed...

Look at the size of this compared to my shotgun....

Now it was all glass and search mode for the other side...

After an hour search I stumbled across the other side in the only area I had not checked within a half mile.Was only 300 yards from the other side after going through some oakbrush...

Here is the set together. The mass on the top end in unreal...

End of day had to head home. No Turkey but a great day. I will be exploring further to see If I can find this years sheds from this bull.
