Big Bucks for Big Buck

The Buck of Justice is up to $14,500. I'm guessing it will shoot up near $20,000 near the end of the auction, like all other items on e-bay. I'm wondering how many people would take the $20,000 and how many people would keep the set if they found it??? It's a once in a lifetime set, but a lot of cash too!

Oh man. That is a tough question. If it goes up to 20Gs I'm not sure. I think if I was Doyle I would sell it in a heart beat and double my money. Since he's just bought them from the guy who actually picked them up. Now if I was the guy that originally picked them up and I felt like I needed some cashola I would have probably tried making replicas and selling them instead of selling the actual sheds. I wish I had a set of sheds big enough that I had to worry about it. I know that much for sure! :)

if he turns down 20 grand, that's the 2 dumbest guys around. one guy for offerin' 20k and the other for turnin' it down. it's just sheds.

I certainly couldnt turn down 20gs... Even if I found them. They would have a bill of sale before I got the cash in hand! I also bet the auction jumps up to 20g's before its done. I could only imagine having 20g's to spend on a set of sheds!

sorry i don't think so i would never sell them he'll never find any thing like that set again. i wouldn't part unless i was despirate for food, then i'd probably beg.

I have to agree with mooseman, 20k wouldn't last very long in todays world and all you could ever say about the antlers is that you once owned them. Of course I have trouble parting with old rotted fork horns.

Although this is not about the cost of buying antlers, just four weeks ago up in Reno at Hot August Nights they had two more idiots there.
One fella has a 1957 Chevy Impala Hardtop in top condition and had placed it up on the Auction for sale. Well along comes a few guys who wanted it and the last offer, not get this, was turned down by the owner at $122,000.00 He wanted $140,000.00 and so went home with it and never sold it. There is no 1957 Chevy worth that much, but shows how people think in this day and age.

My guess is the owner put it up for sale to see what they are "worth" for insuracne purposes. the owner probably put a really high reserve on them to see how much people were willing to put down to own them.

Thats a lot of $$$ for a set of sheds.

hate to trash your story killowatt, but there ain't no such thing as a '57 impala. first year o' the three taillights was '58. '57's had big ol' fins on em. '58's sloped off.
