Alright. I recently was given a decent spotting scope and only have one problem. I'm on a budget but want to put it to use this archery season here in Utah. What is a good tripod under $150? Advice?

i you can scrounge up 40 more dollars i was able to get the vanguard carbon fiber Alta+253CT w/PH-21 pan head. it is a great tripod. i bought this off camo fire. my buddy has the same tripod only aluminum and they both are great! something to look into.

IMO for under $100 you can get a couple different models of Slik pods. I have the Compact Pro and for the money its great. Ya didn't say how big your scope was so this factors into which pod ya might need. IMO stay away from the Vortex pods.
