The dealers are required to sell them at the manufacturer's suggested retail price. Same as Zeiss and Leica and some of the Pacific Rim brands.

Doug at Cameraland's "Demos" are as good a buy as you will find. Sometimes the warranty is a bit less... say 10 years instead of lifetime, but the prices are very good. Dougs customer service is top notch and he carries all the major brands. Or keep your eye out for a used pair in the classifieds, some good deals do show up there. Good Hunting! NJS

I brought a horse trailer off E- Bay and the town(in Oregon) it was listed in was fairly small so I just call the cop shop and ask them if they knew the person, and they said yep we do he's the local wrecker guy they use for towing cars off the hiway so I brought the horse trailer.

So if you're bidding on Bino's on e-bay do take some precatutions.
