im looking to upgrade from my bushnell yardage pro to the next range of rangefinders. i have heard a lot of bad things about the leupold so that one is out, and the leica, swarovski, etc are to expensive for me. im looking to spend between $250 and $400 and no more than that. what is the best one in that price range?

I had a Nikon Monarch 1200 that worked great----until my wife said I could get a leica for my birthday. I would recommend it as a good rangefinder. If it was a little smaller, I would not have upgraded.

It'd be a no-brainer for me if I was in the market and had a $400.00 budget. I'd be on the horn to Doug at Cameraland New York placing an order for a NIB Leica LRF 1200 Scan for $429.99 shipped...
