Best long distance carrier for the money

Can someone tell me the best long distance carrier state to state and in state calls? I happen to live in Michigan if it matters. Thank you

I told my long distance carriers to take a hike. I picked up an AT&T prepaid long distance calling card at SAM's Club for $20 that covered 600 minutes. When it gets low on minutes, I just call them up and add minutes over the dang phone. It works out to about 3.47 cents/minute which is good for state to state as well as in state calling. It beats just about every other long distance carrier that I have had. The only drawback is entering in all the numbers but program the phone and it makes it a lot quicker.
