Best factory ammo for BAR Safari 338 Win Mag?

I just ordered a new BAR Safari .338 Win Mag with the Boss brake and was wondering if anyone here uses this rifle and what's the best factory ammo for Elk & Mule Deer? Thanks for your experience.. Mike

I don't have the particular rifle, but my .338 always shot and performed well with the Hornady heavy Magnum 225 gr. I do have a BAR in .30-06 and it shoots 3/4" groups with Hornadys custom 165 BT.

I second the opinion on the Hornady. Great factory ammo all around but the BAR's seem to like it a lot. Of course - hand loads are the best.
