No, the marriage isn't in trouble :)
Back in the days of young love and continual heartbreak the ones that stands out were:

Nazareth - Love Hurts
Jay Geils - Love Stinks
Journey - Separate Ways
Greg Kihn - The Breakup Song

Post em up you jilted lovers

Wow Feleno, you must be another one of those guys that are older than everyone thinks!

The only one that comes to my mind is Toby Kieth, Every Light In The House Is On.

complete
yeah i'm an old geezer but I'm young enough to know Trace Adkins sings Every Light in the House is on :)

What it takes by Aerosmith

Randy Travis has a bunch of them.

Bread had a whole album of them. They must have been some messed up dudes.

Randy Travis does 'I Told You So'

Compromise, hell! ... If freedom is right and tyranny is wrong, why should those who believe in freedom treat it as if it were a roll of bologna to be bartered a slice at a time?

Steve Holy - I got a brand new girlfriend

Lotsa good ones there boys!
Seems like the country genre has more than its share of break up songs.
Anyone heard: I Pray For You by Jaron and the Long Road to Love? Makes me laugh every time I hear it.

The vandals, my girlfriends dead
ben folds five, give me my money back you bit##

That John Denver is full of $#!t man

Ugly Kid Joe - Everything about you

you old farts will love this:

the blow up dolls are my favorite part.

Went to see Toby Keith and Trace Atkins last night. Jaron and the long road to love was the opening act, and he had more breakup songs than just Pray for You. It was a great concert, and perhaps while it isn't a 'breakup' song, "How do you like me now?" by Toby Keith should be on this list. It's certainly an in your face song.

One song that nearly brings me to tears...well, not really, but it sounded good...is "Stay" by Sugarland. Great video as well.

Steve

If...I wanted to shed the anchor, it would be "You light up my life."

My favorite of all is Diamond Rio's "You're Gone" - ouch. Gets me every time.

Also like these:

Poision - "Every Rose Has its Thorn"
George Straight - "Easy Come, Easy Go"
Cinderella - "Cold November Rain"
Hal Ketchum - "Past the Point of Rescue"

and a few others. Frankly, I am a big fan of melancholic love gone wrong songs, so if I were really to get thinking about it I could come up with quite a playlist.

UTROY
Proverbs 21:19 (why I hunt!)

You all may not have heard of this one "Crazy Eddie's Last Harrah". It was orginally done by the group Reckless Kelly, but the version I heard was done by Cross Canadian Ragweed. Gotta love Red Dirt Country.
WVBOWAK

Roy, November Rain was GNR

Cruel Summer - Bananrama
Whippin' Post - Allman Brothers
Careless Whisper - George Michael
She's Gone - Hall & Oates

Great break up song!!!! ;)

:)

You Got Lucky

you better watch what you say
you better watch what you do to me
don't get carried away

girl if you can do better than me
go...yeah, go

but remember, good love is hard to find,
good love is hard to find,
you got lucky babe
you got lucky babe, when I found you

you put a hand on my cheek
and then you turned your eyes away
if it don't feel complete, if I don't take you all of the way
then go...yeah, go

but remember, good love is hard to find,
good love is hard to find,
you got lucky babe
you got lucky babe, when I found you

yeah, go...just go
but remember, good love is hard to find,
good love is hard to find,
you got lucky babe
you got lucky babe, when I found you
