Best Bow String

Just recently i had my release clamped on my string somewhere and pulled back on the string with my fingers and the string came off of the cam and now my string is ruined. I was wondering if anybody knows the best kind of string how much they are including the installation. Thanks

Winners Choice in John Day OR makes the best cables and strings IMO, but your best to seek a local archery show as you probably don't have a press needed to install strings etc.

Winners choice makes a nice string. Vapor trails is another top notch string maker. Cost depends on what bow you have. Vapor trails will be cheaper than winners choice. I've used both and had great experiences with both. You will not have any peep problems or stretch issues with either string.

Another nod for Winners Choice. When I find one better I'll try it. Hard to improve what they have now though.

I have had my Winners Choice on my Q2XL since Jan 2001. Keep it waxed and I have never had a problem. Ive never noticed any string stretch but I have switched from aluminum to carbon/aluminum back to aluminum and now to carbon so I have moved my sights around a few times anyway.

Another for Winners Choice . They pre stretch the string for a good period of time before shipping . Their strings are in such demand at times , that there has been back orders in the past . Its deffinately NOT a fad string , they are proven..NMHUNTNUTT
