i just started archery hunting this year. What is your most favorite shot to take.

The most recent one that put meat in the freezer!!

"Good mass & long browtines"

Yeah it's gotta be 20 yards broadside with his head behind a tree or brush!

30 yards broadside, that extra 10 yards seems to help the noise and movement factor for me.

close and broadside with the front shoulder forward and the bull looking the opposite direction

I am kind of partial to the double lung complete pass through shot.

--I'm looking for a man... who calls himself Bucho! That's all! And you had to do it, the hard way!--

I like the shot with my digital camera with me standing behind the 30 incher.

10 yards, bedded angled slightly away.

When in doubt, floor it.

Diplomacy is the art of saying "nice doggy" until you find a big stick.

20 yards or less, and straight up the front leg. Most people shoot animals behind the front leg, however if you look at an animals bone structure the leg bone curves forward and the shoulder blade is higher and furthur forward then you would think.

I've shot two elk the first about 7 yards away and slowly walking by. The shot looked a little high but a pass through. Not much if any blood trail, but follow her tracks and found her 50 yards away, double lung. Second 25 yards broadside. She saw me draw back and stopped to look at what I was. Again I thought it was a little high and slightly forward. Again it was a double lung, but this time a good blood trail 60 yards is all she went. Both elk were shot from the same spot two years in a row. Cant wait until next year.
