bears???

Im shamelessly going to ask if anybody has seen any bears in 76, or 66a during their elk hunts? I took my 6yr old boy this spring into 66a for 5 weekends in a row and never even saw a bear. Long story short, it's been bugging me ever since, I really would like to kill a bear with him......so, if anybody has seen, or knows where a bear is, I got a little boy I'd like to take and try to seal the deal.

Get up high and glass the high draws with Saskatoon berries. They should be eating every change they have right now.

I hunted those units for years, never seeing bears. My father did. One spring I decided to bait, but nothing came in. So, I decided to go on a hike. Coming back from my hike, 300 yards from the truck I shot #39 in the state of Idaho. I sure could use some of that luck this year. Not alot of bears in those units, but they sure can get big.

I'm not one for telling my grandson how big of turd I had to pinch off from having to eat so much meat. I want to give him the antlers that hang from my wall and tell him the unforgettable experience that came with each and every one.
