Took a couple of days to unwind in the hills. We saw 30+ bucks and lots of does and fawns. Over 110 Elk. One nice 6X. But the highlight was getting up this morning and being able to tell that a bear had checked out our camp during the night. He must have not liked the peanuts but his prints were on the table. He ate the leftovers from the Rib Eyes we had for dinner (in a tied garbage bag)

With a Hot/Dry/Little Food year like this one them Campgrounds are gonna come alive!

Like I've always said!

If most Yuppies knew what the Night time activity was at night in Campgrounds they wouldn't even consider it!

Can't wait for people to start claiming how many Deer & Elk the Bears are eating this year!

You leave him a Samich Trix?:D

These Dusty Roads ain't streets of gold but I'm happy right where I'm at!
All these Perty little Western Belles are a Country Boys Dream!
They ain't got Wings or MM Halo's but they sure look good to me!

Just the leftovers of a too big for one guy ribeye and some fried taters.. There were a couple groups of bear hunters with a bunch of hounds in the area we could hear them sounding off at dawn.

Only one problem with leaving/feeding a Bear a Samich!

He will be back the very next night & by GAWD there better be another Samich available or sshhitts gonna hit ther fan!:D
