Bear Baiting in Idaho?

I am from out of state...I was thinking about trying to bait some bears that I have seen in Units 59 and 59A...Is it alright to bait in the fall in Idaho?....I will be up their hunting elk and while scouting I have seen some bears...I would love to take a bear as well as an elk...I think from what I have read that this would be ok to do...

Your thoughts would be appreciated!

No clue about that unit but you can bait in fall for them.

yes you can.... sometimes a big onery humped shoulder brown bear arrives in country as well .

Baiting for black bear is a lawful method. See pages 54-55 in the 2008 big game regs for baiting permit info and rules for bait/bait placement.
