My son and I were driving in Grand Teton on the 30th. We were wondering what all the activity was at that parking lot (sheriffs, park law enforcement, ambulance). Glad to hear the hunter will recover from the attack.

If you see it coming, have bear spray and an elk rifle, I would NOT recommend falling to the ground and covering up.

I was once attacked (predation was the motivation) by a black bear that I first saw at about 25 yards. Shooting worked quite effectively.


Within the shadows, go quietly.
