Beanman, how is the shoulder healing? Gonna be able to use that unit 61 tag?

Gave? You mean the check is in the mail, along with one of your pre 64 M70's.

At this point the shoulder feels ok with a good range of movement. I'll still be wearing a sling for the next two weeks, that's when I'll know more about the shoulder.
I have until 24 hours before the hunt to turn my tag back in for points. I'll have to see how it feels and judge whether I can carry a heavy pack etc. If I decide that I can't hunt where and how I want to then I will turn the tag back in and try for next year. I've also lost a fair amount of conditioning so that will factor in as well since I do not favor a road hunt.
