If you want a Remington factory take off barrel in 25/06, check with Numrich GPC as they buy take off barrels from gunsmiths who are installing custom barrels.

Another plan is to purchase a Shilen Remington barrel from Brownells that is short chambered in 25/06. You screw it on, already threaded, and use a finish 25/06 chamber reamer and headspace gauges to finish the final chambering.
