Banks lake fishing trip

Hey guys went to banks lake here in WA this morning and fished until noon. Went after smallmouth. Caught 7 good ones biggest 2 1/2 pounds and a trout while fishing for the bass. the trout was 17 inches and weight 1lb10oz. Good day to be out too, all sun shine. i will have pictures soon as i get the camera taken up.

2 1/2 is pretty beefy for a smalley, isn't it? I've caught a few in the mid-west, but they were well less than a pound. I would love to see a picture. Any suggestions on where a 6 year old could catch a planter or two in central WA?
