I have heard of people using back backs with bungies on them and stuff for carrying out horns. What kind of a pack do you guys use because i think i may be investing in one here pretty soon and i want to get one that will do the job well.
Thanks for any feedback.

I have a Kelty Redwing 2000 ST Back Pack. The back pack is well designed to fit your back (its adjustable), very durable, and I like the design on it for packing antlers. I bought it at the Sports Mans Warehouse along with some little bungies. The back pack was $80.00 or so, but was well worth it. The bungies work excellent for deer or elk antlers on the pack too. Hope this will help

I have the Dwight Shue model fieldline and I love it. It has a large front section with seperators for all the small stuff and a very large back section. It also has a lace up bungee cinch on the outside that I hold all the bigger horns on with.
Check Cabelas, I think it was around $100. Also I think it is the treestand model.

I have bought a bunch of backpacks trying to find just the right one for shed hunting....I have had camelbacks..packframes...saddle bags....regular packs...I cant seem to find just the right one that isnt too small isnt too big...I got one at walmart for like $20 or so that works as good as all the other ones and has a couple places to put antlers...I probably have around $800 in backpacks and frames just for shed hunting...most will get used during hunting season by my family but they usually just sit in the gun room

seems to me almost any pack will do.

here is a pic of the pack i carry when i am on a more serious trip and anticipate finding a few bones. note the large rubber bands i use to tighten up the bundle of bone...just get ahold of an old tire tube and cut it into 1-inch wide strips and you'll never be without good rubber bands again.

btw, this is my bowhunting pack as well.
