I'm just curious if anyone else has pre-ordered this book, and if they have gotten it yet. I'm waiting for mine - when I ordered, the website said it would ship after the first of the year - I thought very soon after the first. Something else I read said it should be out sometime in January - January is almost over, it's driving me crazy waiting for it.

When I talked to Camreon Hanes at the Sac ISE Show, he saild the manuscript is done and it is at the Publishers. He did not elaborate any further. I'm looking forward to reading it also. I imagine any longtime Eastman fans will recognize a lot of the book, but it will be nice to have all the info in one book.

A buddy of mine saw Cameron in Denver this weekend. Same thing, "the book is at the printers". I've heard reports of "Fall 2006", I hope that's not true. You can get some pretty good info off of his website though, (crhpublishing.com)

I have also heard Fall of this year. Hopefully we get it before huntin' season....that'd be nice.

"David Long's book is not available yet. Look for it closer to summer. Cameron's book is available for pre-order, but it will not be available for several months."

These books can't come out soon enough, Davids book won't be till June or July. I would expect that Camerons should be within a month or two.

Just checked Cameron's website and it says the ship date on the book is April 15th. Finally!!!! IT should be a good read even if it took way to long to ship after they took our money. I can't wait to get it in my hands.

If you check Eastmans.com under Guy Eastmans column it says the ship date will be between the 15th and 20th of April. David's book on public land muleys will be shipped in early July was also noted on that page if your interested, looks like its finally getting close.
