Learned the secret sugar fix for these 50 years ago in the US Navy, when you had a sweet craving. Simple and easy, annd they stay soft. only minimal ingredients required.

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking soda

350 degrees for 12-14 minutes
