My 3 buddies and I got to our spot to glass for deer this morning and right away we located two good bucks together. As we watch them and discussed the best way to put a stalk on we noticed movement in the bino's 10 yards below them. Our first thought was a mountain lion but as we watched it turned out to be a bobcat stalking the bigger of the two bucks. The bobcat then ran up to the deer and swiped at him.The deer seemed more puzzled at the cat than scared. We watched the bobcat pursue them all the way over the mountain and out of site.I know a mountain lion will take a deer but we didnt think a bobcat could.Anybody ever seen that before.
