Wow the things i would do to have a day like that that is incredible!! those two singles are awsome. I myself am new to idaho i just came over for college this year and i'm not having much luck yet just one fresh forky but seeing those makes me want to get back out there good job. Any tips for shed hunting here in idaho?

Give it some more time is the only thing i can say. I think we are still too early on going out lots of nice bucks still packing. I aint going to go out for a couple more weeks give it some more time just gonna keep my eye on the ones that still have head gear. when all thoes have droped that is when i am gonna hit it hard again

You must be from the west part cause we have some snow still here in the south east part. You are from the south or south west right?

GREAT ONE... I love finding bone. My wife thinks i'm crazy, when I get home from shed hunting and I have found some good brownies I'll sit on the couch and hold them.

thats what I thought, yeah it way white here, lots of snow, started to let up though. Nice sheds by the way, they look nice

Hey Idahoan i was just wondering what part of western idaho you are from i'm here in Pocatello going to school and can't wait until i can get out into the hills again. How many sheds do you find each year? If possible can i have you post some pics of some you have found i'm just trying to get an idea of what to look for in this new area.

MASSNTRASH, its pretty tough to do as good as you did in pinedale. That is some of the best shed hunting in the country. I hunt southeastern idaho quite a bit, and still dont do great. Good luck. There is some pretty good country around Poky though for sheds.

I do alright, about like Pooner said, it can be tough but I guess that just depends on where your looking. I look from Idaho Falls to south of Poky a ways. Dont do great, mostly because lack of time due to Obligations such as family, school and work, but thats okay by me. I think I found 15 or so elk horns and about 25 to thirty deer horns last year. So what are you going to school in Poky for massntrash?

Yowsa Nice finds. How about a close up of close up of the match set and that big hoss in the right of the pic? Congrats!

I am going to school for civil engineering for now it might change in the future but i doubt it i really enjoy it but i'm having a hard time adjusting to being in a bigger town lol. I guess i got to used to going out everyday and checking on the deer behind my house in pinedale.
