ATV regulations

It has been about 8 years since i hunted California and i did not own a Quad at that time.I use it to haul out game or get to a rough area i would not want to take my truck.I do not ride around hunting off it.

SO do you have to wear a helmit? can you carry a rifle in a case ( unloaded of course)? Any other things i need to know?

Thank you. I don't own an ATV but it's interesting.

"It is also unlawful to ride in the bed of a pickup truck, unless the bed is equipped with seats and safety belts"

I didn't know that.
