ATV abuse , prepare to pay .

I found out some thing kind of interesting today . I was going through the Utah Courts bail schedule on line today looking for some thing else when I found out what the fine is for ATV's off road .

The fine is $300 bucks for ATV cross country on public or private land . If a person is guilty of a second offense in 5 years the fine jumps up to $1,000 .

Lets all report the ATV abuse when we see them off road and in areas where they are not allowed to be . I know there allways isn't law enforcement around when we see the violation , but we might get lucky .

I think some $300 fines might start getting some peoples attention .

BLM its $789, friend got one in the books packing out an elk with his wheeler.

Shed hunting last weekend we saw tracks down every ridge and down every draw we walked....

Private land? I'd like to see them try and issue a citation to me riding my ATV cross country on MY private land. The minute they came through the gate I would have them ticketed for trespassing. And no I don't ride my ATV cross country.

B-bops right though. $300 won't cure much. That's a small price to pay for some.
