Ok- truthfully here. With shafts coming in at .001-.006 in straightness. Will a hunter (not a target shooter) see the difference in accuracy the shafts? My guess is they would in the jump from a .001 to a .006, especially in longer shots. But what about from .001 to say .003? Are the straighter shafts worth the money? I shoot GT pro hunters (.001) right now and have no complaints with them, If I switch to .002 or .003s do you guys think I will loose accuracy?

I shoot Gold Tips, and I'm not a great archer by any stretch.
I started out with the cheap .006 arrows, and then up graded to the .003 ?XTs?. I noticed a difference, better groups. Average 40 Yd groups shrunk an inch.
So I tried some .001 Pros, and saw no difference, 40 Yd groups stayed the same.
Your results may vary.

Most guys won't notice a huge difference. Not only that, but if you don't have real long arrows (28" or less) that means you'll be cutting at least 4" off the full length shaft. 2" inches off each end of a .003 and you'll be down to as straight a shaft as you can get.

NO difference, the only way you will see a difference is if you believe it makes a difference. For example, look at the ACC's they are .003" and they are shot by a large number of the top shooters.

I believe a consistent spine is probably a bigger deal than straightness after you get to the .003 range.
