I'm in the market for buying an arrow saw and i have looked at the apple and the cabela's brand. Does anyone have any experience or info on either of them or on another saw? and should i go with the 5000rpm or the 8000?

I have the A-1 Apple that runs at 5000rpm. It cuts perfectly and have never wanted or needed another 3000rpm. I have cut at least eight dozen carbon and four dozen aluminum arrows. Just the standard abrasive blade, and it has worn but is still pleny useable. Have never had a bit of problem with it. Cabelas sells good stuff, so based on what they offer I would try it. The Cabelas was not available when I bought mine.

I've had a Horizon arrow saw, which I believe is now the Apple arrow saw, for well over 20 years and it was the cheapest one available at the time. I have no idea how many arrows I've cut on it - for myself and my friends - but I've never had a bit of a problem with it. Oh, I'm still on my first blade.

Venado muy grande!
