Alright, need a little help with my set up. I have a Bodoodle 2 prong rest. My arrow fletching have a slight helical to them. When tuning your bow, they usually mention checking for fletching clearance when troubleshooting. My question is, Is it possible to not get any fletching contact with this rest? My fletchings look like they are hitting, but I don't think there is anyway to not have some contact. Also, how should the tension spring be set on the Bodoodle.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-07-06 AT 01:10PM (MST)[p]All the more reason for a drop away rest. You may have too much helical to work with that prong rest. If you want to shoot with a strong helical, and there are certainly advantages to doing so, a drop away is pretty much required. I personally like the Trophy Ridge Drop Zone, but there are several good ones out there now.

Second that opinion; with a helical you will have clearance problems. Drop away rests are the future. In my opinion get one that has a smaller prong rest. They will get out of the way faster than a few of the bigger rest I have seen lately. the reason is there is less mass to get moving.
I shoot a trophy taker.
