Arizona- when do they drop??

I have never been to this area, but plan a trip with my buddy and our 4,5,and 8 yrd old boys. Was thinking unit 9 or 10 so we can see the canyon too. Can you collect them in the "park"

When do they drop????just a hint about the area would be great. We only need a shed or two, not a truck load.

In the National Park is a "No-NO" for sure, N.P.S. will be watching for sure. Be carefull of both of the Indian Reservations (to the east and west too, they are a "No-No" too.

I would guess end of march 1st of april would be a good time.

The snow shouldn't be much of a problem this year, Tusayan did get 3 inches this morning.

By the end of March both units have been hit pretty hard by the horn guys. Dale, Jean and I will probably be making several trips in 10 in March. My wife has a Turkey tag in 9 in April-May and we'll try to get a 4 day weekend/campout then.

I see that your wife is going to be turkey hunting in 9 this year. I just returned from looking for elk and came across a group of 45 turkeys. send me an email and I'll give you more details, it was quite amazing.
