This is my best advice... Open the Arizona fish and game page and they have a map of the range where Arizona elk are. Observe the range and find a BLM map or forest service map to figure out where you can and can't walk. Find a spot where mountains spring up from a flat area and walk the slope between mid and 75% to the top. Look for tracks and once you find tracks or old droppings you are in the right area. You will be looking for white antler until late March and early April.. This information is coming from a Utah shed hunter who can no longer pick up sheds in the north until May but in the past I have done really well here in Utah before it became illegal. Anyhow don't forget to show us what you find and good luck
