Area 7

Seeking info for Area 7, mainly for the Duncan Ranch HMA. I have a leftover cow tag and drew a permission slip to hunt there but have never been there. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Lots of elk in area 7. Just a matter of if they are on the ranch when you have permission and when you can hunt. The ranch is only around 7,000 acres. There's public land you can get into as well. Same story there. The ranch is good habitat, but many thousands of acres of good habitat exist around the ranch that are off limits. In effect, you have to get lucky.

sorry I was talking on phone and typing at same time. Where are you coming from to hunt. I mostly hunt the southern end of unit and seen lots of cows.
