Area 40 Elk

What is everyones thought on area 40 elk in the Bighorns. I live pretty close by and am over that country quite a bit. I have never elk hunted there, but always wanted to. This year we get our chance. Just wondering if you guys got any tips on that area.

I was thinking the early the better. Not sure if the snow pushes them elk down to the private or not.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know what the hunting pressure is like during the rifle season for this Wyoming area 40 elk tag. I know how many tags they gave out just never hunted it for elk, usually am out of that area before october. Any help would be great.
