I'd say no too. However, I have seen some goofy matches before... There is always that possibility.

Id say definately not a set.
Not only are the paddles totally differen't the pedicles are a dead give away.
But i'm sure those two swamp donkeys were friends!!

Oh thats a set for sure! You can tell by the palms and everything else. I would count that as a set. I don't care if you found them 200 yards away. Thats a set! And a good looking set too! I would say what a solid 45 inch spread. Great find!

I've tried to decide if this was a set from the moment I picked them up. I think they are a set, even though the basses don't match. I just think that there is a better chance that they are a set than two moose dropping their antlers within a few feet of each other. It is interesting to hear other opinions.

If they were that close then they are a set, bases can be diffrent if he hurt it when he was young.

Chances are greater of two Moose dropping side by side than this being a set. The only thing they have in common is they are both Moose sheds. Now get back out there and find the other two sheds.

Yep, I agree with sneakattack. Not a set. The pedicles are not even close to the same. I found a matched set this year(elk) with a third antler laying on top of the other two. All we could figure was that the last bull stopped to smell the matched set and decided to leave one of his own. Ya just never know....

i have found a few horns laying within yards thinking the same thing and then find the match to one days later. keep looking, not a match.

I would say that they are definetly a set. If you look closely at the front tine lenght they look pretty similiar. Also the length of the palms are fairly similair. I would bet the this bull was injured and that is why the left antler is somewhat deformed. But just my opinion.

They were probally sparing when they dropped them. I have found several antlers from different critters right next to each other. The will spar right up until they drop them.
