Are the Elk talking in Idaho yet?

I am curiouse to know if the elk in idaho are bugleing yet. and if so how frisky are they?

I heard bugles back on the 2nd and 3rd of the month so I'm sure they are sounding off better by now. I guess I'll find out the 15th whenI head back out.

John I agree, I haven't been out again yet, but from what I hear they are starting to sound off.

they were going nuts on Sunday 9-11 until about 10am.

They were sounding off big time Sunday in N. Idaho, that wet & cold weather got them going. A buddy of mine nailed a bull on Friday 9/9 @ 4:00 p.m., bugling his entire way in. I took some pics of anyone wants to post them. However, I must warn you in advance there is blood in the pictures & the rack is on top of a 4-wheeler. Ha-ha, from what I've read bloody pics & 4-wheelers are like the top 2 sins around here
