Ditto what Bohntr said. I love to stump shoot much more than target shoot. It adds the dilemna of judging distance, the judo's tend to flip the arrow up.
It's an old term used when you roam the hills and/or mountains and pick out stumps, grass clumps, off-colored dirt, etc., and shoot at them while estimating yardage. Using nature's targets if you will.
I always keep one in my quiver when hunting, also have about a dozen on flu-flus for small game. Have only ever lost one arrow out of thousands shot with flu-flu and Judo combination.
