I've been contemplating about purchasing a monopod (specifically the Vortex) that I can mount my binoculars to for extended glassing. I was thinking it would be a good way to cut down on weight and would be easier than setting up a tripod everytime I sat down. I was just wondering if anyone else does this or has tried it. Was is worth the $$$?
