Saw this on another website.

I just got an email from the DOW's Hunter
Education Coordinater, who found one very
expensive pair of binoculars during the last
week of bow season.

I'm passing along his email - if you think
he's describing your binoculars, write me
back and I'll put you in touch with him.

Jim,

My brother and I found a pair of Swarovski EL?s
while bowhunting September 21st in GMU 16. It
was a couple of days after the close of
muzzleloader season, so the binoculars could have
been lost by a bowhunter or muzzleloader hunter.
I notified the local District Wildlife Manager
that evening and posted the find on the Colorado
Bowsite forum the next day. I called Swarovski
and found out the binocs had not been registered,
so no owner information was available. I did find
out where they were originally sold ?
Rapid City, SD. Called the store and found they
don't keep records. I've also checked Craig?s List
in Colorado and South Dakota without luck.

If you would post them on your site, that would be
great ? I would really like to get them reunited
with their owner. I'm betting that they would like
to have them back as well!

Thanks for the help with this ? I've been at a
roadblock on how to keep trying to find the owner.
It's an over the counter license, so hard to narrow
down the pool.

Mark, if you happen to see this I just wanted to say thank you for being such an honest guy. Hopefully all of your efforts pay off and the guy that lost them is able to get them back. What goes around comes around. If you ever decide you would like to hunt UT, WY, CO, NV for muleys holler and I'll help you out any way that I can.
