How was the winter? Was there alot of winter kill?

I've been on a couple hikes on the winter range and really have not found that many dead deer. The first trip up there we did find about 20 dead deer in one draw, but since then I haven't found a lot of dead deer.
I'd also like to hear what the biologists are saying about the Western Wyoming winter.

Been out shed hunting last week in the area. Probably saw 15-20 dead. Local game warden did a winter kill survey (different area from where I was, still in G though) he counted over 200. south of Kemmerer was hit pretty hard by vehicle deaths. two weeks ago counted over 60 deer and antelope dead on the roadsides between kemmerer and I-80. That was after the initial cleanup from a few weeks earlier. Overall the herds will be down. Elk look pretty good though
