Anyone Find There 2006 Deer Yet?

Just a little over 3 weeks away is the Utah Archery Hunt. I have yet to find that special buck that will receive my arrow yet. Will be checking out several different honey holes in the next couple of weeks. Just wondering if anyone has found there buck yet?

I found this buck today. I hunted him all of last year and had several close calls but never could put it together for a shot. He has craby fronts but he grew a little inline fifth on one side. He won't score great but for a public land high country Utah buck in the velvet I don't think I could pass on him. Today he was hanging out with twelve other bucks and one of them was pretty good but this buck kept my attention. Last year I saw him over 10 times while scouting and on three different days during the regular archery season. I guess just chasing one buck for so long you kind of get attatched to him even if there are bigger deer on the mountain. After three close calls on him last season maybe this will be the year.

Keep us posted on your pursuit. He would be an excellent buck to add to the collection. I can't wait, I have been shooting a ton this year and will be fine tuning the set-up over the next couple of weeks.
