I shoot a 31" draw and was wondering if anyone else has a long draw too. I want to get a new bow this summer and am looking at the drenaline. Will i have to special order such a long draw length?

they dont make a drenalin in a 31 inch length... in a mathews you have to go to a switchback LD, or in a hoyt you have to go to a vectrix or vectrix XL... I have found that the mathews run a little long, I shoot a 30 in a hoyt and a 29.5 in a mathews...

I shoot the Switchback LD and love it. Longer brace height means not as fast as some of the other bows but it is smooth and forgiving and fast enough to get the job done. It is a little longer than some of the older Mathews, I have a Q2XL in a 31" that is a 1/4 " shorter than my LD in a 31 ". I should shoot a 32" though so its still just right for me.

Yep, I bought a PSE fireflight express off the semi truck in 1992 with a draw length of 32". I've replaced the limbs once and it still shooting sweet.

It really is tough for us long armed guys. I think we have 3 options. A custom compound $$$, Getting the longest we can find and bending the elbow more than we like, OR going back to a recurve. That will shorten your draw up nicely! haha.

So basically you guy's are telling me i'm screwed!!! Thanks alot you guy's. Why no drenaline in a 31? What is the longest they make???

The Bowtech Comander is your bow. It goes up to a 32inch draw. Great bow for the long draw archer. Have a look.

the longest drenalin is 30 inches... but there are a bunch of good bows in your range.. go find one...
