Any shed hunters from the east

Was wondering if shed hunting in the eastern states is as big as the shed hunting in the western states?

BigShow,

I just retired from the military this past summer and now live on the eastern shore of Maryland. I've been fortunate to have spent some time in Maine and also Montana. I used to start snowshoeing in Maine around this time of year looking for moose sheds. I had some success with my best find being a big matching set found in an area where I'd been keeping my eye on some big bulls throughout the winter months.

While in Montana, I never did any shed hunting, although I wanted to. Between hunting for elk, deer and antelope, flyfishing any chance I got, and hunting turkeys in the spring, I just never found the time in the two years I was there.

I'm pretty excited about starting here though. This area is prime whitetail habitat and they grow them pretty large. Access is the only headache during hunting season...I'm hoping some farmers won't mind me poking around looking for sheds though. Who knows...that could lead to access next fall. There is a prime 2500 acre piece of state land that is bowhunting only. I saw some bruisers up there in the fall and am already looking at overhead photos, planning my assault here in a few weeks.
